But also very good at maintaining proper hygiene during Covid-19 pandemic, tables are spaced far off each other, contact list is provided, advance reservations encouraged. Original 2015: What a nice place! Lovely, cosy rooms nicely decorated with artefacts. Menue is well balanced, not too short, not too long. Have been twice here, was positively surprised by taste and choice. Strongly recommend the Munich Schnitzel! It's also worth to ask for vegetables of the season e.g. meals with asparagus in spring, meals with pumpkin in autum etc. Personnel was very friendly, did switch the additions by wish (french fries vs. mashed potatoes for Granny). Good value for a moderate price - so 5 stars

What an experience. Fast and attentive service. Also mastered the charm of dealing with guests. With food: no matter whether starter or main course, all three people were very satisfied with the food they ordered. The temperature of the dishes is particularly commendable. The main course was served hot. Not a matter of course in gastronomy. A dessert will be tested later because there was no space left for the rich food. Good: a greeting from the kitchen at the beginning was also included. A pleasant atmosphere with classical music framed our stay. The music was pleasant in volume and suited the interior as well as the house. Overall, the visit remains in lasting positive memory. The only thing that should be worked on now is communication regarding opening times. Because we too were afraid that we would go there for free, as it happened that it was closed, although according to the internet it was open. No sign on the door either. So: call, have the opening confirmed and enjoy. Definitely recommended!

Very cozy and tastefully decorated restaurant. Service nice and brisk, both the dumplings with wild mushrooms and the spaetzle pan tasted good. To recommend.

This is a secret in this area. In summer you can sit outside and the food is delicious. The wine would be even better ...... There is a bookstore next door to recommend and a bit further there is a good junk dealer. You notice, Schildow is worth it.

The food was delicious. And the portions were reasonable, so we walked away from the table rather than rolled off it.

Good food at normal prices. Can one ever be rejected if it is too full.

Nice little restaurant, as if you are invited to grandma and grandpa. Friendly service, the outside served us well. Unfortunately, there was no cake. But the apple strudel and apple rings were delicious instead. Will definitely come again ...
